Mount Sinai in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula is revered by Jews, Christians, and Muslims as the place where Moses received the Ten Commandments from God. The mountain rises 2,285 meters above sea level, and pilgrims climb its 3,750 Steps of Repentance to reach the summit, often arriving before dawn to witness the spectacular sunrise.
